Colorado Office Lead
Miras Mamirov is a licensed Professional Engineer with a Ph.D. in civil engineering and extensive experience in bridge and tunnel inspections, performing load ratings, and providing structural analysis for a variety of clients. At eO, he has inspected more than 1,000 bridges and nearly a dozen tunnels across Colorado, using various access methods and Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) techniques to assess structural integrity, scour vulnerability, and public safety. He has a strong understanding of federal and state guidelines, including AASHTO, LRFD, and LFD, and has performed or reviewed hundreds of load ratings on structures ranging from steel and timber to reinforced and prestressed concrete.
In addition to his technical expertise, Miras is a trusted leader who has served as Deputy Project Manager and/or team leader on multiple assignments, overseeing staff coordination, resource planning, and budgets. He is also a dedicated mentor, known for making complex engineering concepts clear and approachable for younger engineers, creating an environment where team members feel confident asking questions and pursuing continued professional development for long-term success in the industry.
Aside from his technical expertise, Miras embraces Colorado’s outdoors through skiing, hiking, soccer, and tennis. Though he has made Colorado home, he proudly maintains his Nebraska roots as a loyal Cornhuskers football fan, bravely defending Husker pride in Buffs territory.
