Bill Gehry, CBI

At eO, we are proud to have Bill Gehry as a key member of our leadership team. With a distinguished background and a wide-ranging skill set, Bill brings technical expertise, oversight, and a strong commitment to quality in every project he leads. Bill is a Certified Bridge Inspector (CBI), NBIS Team Leader, SPRAT Rope Access Technician, and ADCI Diving Supervisor. He received his training at the Naval Dive and Salvage Training Center, and for the past decade, has served as a civilian with a focus on NBIS bridge inspections. He has served as a routine team leader on numerous projects managed through eO’s Orange City, FL office, and his inspection experience includes work under TSMA, NSTM, and multiple FDOT contracts. Bill’s project portfolio includes complex inspection methods, such as snooper access, confined spaces, night operations, and underwater dive inspections. 

Bill’s longstanding professional relationship with the company’s founding members, combined with his strengths in organization, time management, team coordination, and problem-solving, make him a valuable asset to the eO team. His inspection work spans multiple states and continues to reflect the highest standards of professionalism and technical expertise. 

Beyond his field and office work, Bill enjoys spending quality time with his family and being outdoors, hiking, climbing, boating, and enjoying the beach. He is a big supporter of his three daughters’ extracurricular activities including dance, soccer and helps coach the track team. Bill is originally from Pennsylvania but discovered his love for diving, and for Florida, which he now calls home, during his time in the Army, where he rose to the rank of sergeant and served as a salvage diver. He enjoys isolation and feels more comfortable when his feet aren’t on the ground, either in the water or hanging from ropes. He is also a world traveler including 17 different countries, with the goal to dive on every continent.
